Reading and searching
You can read every guide without creating an account. Site search runs in your browser against a static guide index. The search feature does not require an external search provider.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand page visits, traffic sources and device usage. It uses first-party cookies and sends usage information to Google. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our tag. Our page-view tag omits URL query strings and fragments, and does not load when your browser sends Do Not Track. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses and access logs to deliver and secure the site.
Images and third-party requests
Fonts and core design assets are hosted locally. Article images may load from our image storage provider. Loading a remote image exposes ordinary request information to that provider.
Updates to this policy
This policy will be updated when the site adds services that change how visitor information is handled.
